LiONS CLUB BREAKFAST & EASTER EGG HUNT
Every March or April children abound searching for those multicolored decorated eggs just waiting to be found, while their families enjoy a breakfast feast put on by the Timberline Lions Club.....
MEMORiAL & LABOR DAY WEEKEND YARD SALESEvery Memorial and Labor Day weekends many crowd the village of Wrightwood to go from house to house in search of the many treasures waiting to be found. Even the local shops have been known to join in the fun while moving inventory at great low prices.....
ROCK iN THE PiNESThe "Rock'in the Pines" Summer Concert Series features many of the best un-signed bands from the Southern California music scene. The music will be combined with "Wrightwood Market Night", to create a fun festival atmosphere. "Rock'in the Pines" will feature Music, a Vendor Village, Food, Contests, a Talent Show, Bounce Houses and Pony Rides for the kids.....and all the mountain scenery and cool mountain air you can handle. The best part of "Rock'in the Pines" Summer Concert Series is the price....IT'S FREE!!! So come on up to Wrightwood this summer for some "Shop'in & Rock'in".....
WRiGHTWOOD WiLDFiRE AWARENESS DAY
Presented by the Wrightwood Fire Safe Council and hosted by Mountain Hardware, this fun and educational day in May will always include speakers, exhibits, and lots more! Fire Safety Information, Popcorn and Hot Dogs, Helicopter Water Drops, Smokey The Bear, Chain Saw Safety, Firescaping Speakers and free goodies to all.....
SPRiNG GARDEN TOURSEvery May or June, depending on the elusive Lilac bloom and weather, you can escape to the beauty of our Mountain Spring Garden Tours. Arts and craft vendors, library book sales, wine tastings, great food, along with the fragrance of Lilacs in bloom can be experienced throughout the village. Selected local gardens are also open to the public during this celebration of Spring's Wonders.....
MUSiC iN THE PiNES SUMMER CONCERTSOn most Thursdays you and your family can escape the city to enjoy a free concert series consisting of varying genres and styles. The concerts series starts in July and runs through August .....
MOUNTAiNEER DAYSEvery Forth of July weekend the village of Wrightwood comes alive. The area owes a great deal to its mining, cattle ranching and mountain man pasts. During this time people from all over gather to celebrate Wrightwoods rich history and the nation's birth. Enfoy displays by local artists and vendors, parades, bed races, mock western towns and gun fights, live music and contests. Great fun for the entire family.....
SUMMERFEST MUSiC FESTiVAL
Every summer, Dafogey's Diner & Productions, presents a summer concert or two here in Wrightwood and also in other parts of the Inland Empire. Performers are top-notch internationally acclaimed artists coupled with up and coming local upstarts.....
WRIGHTWOOD MOUNTAiN CLASSiC CAR SHOW
On the third Saturday of every August, come and join us on a journey into yesteryear. The first dribble of cars start showing up on Thursday and Friday, but by dawn on Saturday morning the rumble of hundreds of classic and antique cars can be heard for miles around pulling into the village for this ever expanding annual gathering. Vendors of all types, live music, shopping, hourly contests and drawings, trophy ceremonies and great food round out this perfect day in the mountains.....
ANGELES CREST 100 MiLE ENDURANCE RUNEvery September, one of the toughest endurance runs in America begins right here in Wrightwood. One hundred miles from Wrightwood to Pasadena, along some of the most rugged and scenic Angeles Crest and Pacific Crest trails all of which is located within the Angeles National Forest. Athletes from around the world gather for days prior to their pre-dawn start for this internationally known race of the fittest. So, come on up and cheer on these brave men and women willing to take on this great challenge.....
WRiGHTWOOD MOUNTAiN MUSiC FESTiVALEvery Labor Day weekend your family can enjoy two days of non-stop music performed by local artists. Food, vendors and plenty of fun for the whole weekend.....
WRiGHTWOOD ART TOURIn September of every year you can meet local artisans and enjoy a wide range of styles and media on display at venues throughout the village. There are also demonstrations, refreshments, music and silent auctions.....
PHELAN RODEO
This years rodeo is scheduled for October 6th and 7th and is brought to you by The Honeycutt Rodeo Company, sponsored by Victorville Motors, Dodge Rodeo and also Desert Community Bank who generously donates the land for this event. This is only the 4th annual rodeo show for the PCR committe, but the PCR is already one of the largest attractions in the high desert and expectations are high for this year. Due to a much higher level of prize money and award winning bucking stock the PCR advises everyone to get your ticket early. Attendence is expected in exceed 5000 people this year. WRiGHTWOOD SHOP AT HOMEAvoid the traffic at the malls this year because Wrightwood's many shops have great deals to offer you. Bring the entire family up for the weekend following Thanksgiving to kick off the holiday shopping season. Santa and Mrs. Clause are always the guests of honor. Get in the spirit as we light the village Christmas Tree, sing with our local carolers, relax while taking a hayride, watch our "Electric Light Parade" and enjoy free hot apple cider being served by our shopkeepers at all of the village shops.....
